DIY New Year’s Eve decorations – order in the house is order in Ania Legenza’s life
If you spend New Year’s Eve at a house party, and you would like to introduce a little sparkling atmosphere to the interior, I have 3 simple DIY for you, perfect for New Year’s Eve.
CLOCKS on toothpicks
I liked the clock decorations this year and they will decorate our snack table.
To prepare them, we need:
- bristol board
- toothpicks
- glue
- marker pen
- other decorations at your discretion
Steps:
- Draw the shape of the circles
- We cut and prepare tips (also made of card stock)
- We combine the tips (I used small studs, but you can just glue them together)
- And we stick to the shield. Stick a toothpick on the back.
We can additionally decorate the dials and tips as you wish. The clocks are perfect for muffins (I have dietary chocolates;))
PUMPS
It is such a small element that will enliven empty glasses or champagne glasses. It takes 5 minutes to make, and it immediately gets more party-like 🙂
To prepare them, we need:
- tissue paper or napkins
- skewers
- scissors
Steps:
- Fold at least two layers of tissue paper together
- Cut the edges into thin Leaving the strips about 1 cm from the inside
- Fold in half and again in half
- Twist the center
- Until we have a pompon
- And stuff it on sticks. To make it easier, you can make a hole in the pompom and use a little glue to keep them tighter.
CONFETTI CONFETTI CONEERS
I wanted to prepare the launchers, but they did not come out, so I bet on the proven confetti cones. I made the cones from a quarter of an A4 sheet of paper, and I poured the contents of the punch container and some paper scraps inside. Impractical fun, but at least once a year I may think impractical 😀
Let me know how you spend New Year’s Eve, and if you are having a party at home, are you preparing any special decorations and attractions? 🙂
Have fun tonight!
