I am a postcard lover, which you could already see during the Holiday Postcard campaign. I love sending them and I love receiving them. In addition, I buy them almost in every new place I am. But only one at a time! 🙂 During these several years, a fairly large collection has accumulated, and storing them in one box is not my style.
Today is the part of the postcards that we bought during our trips together. I really wanted to use maps in some DIY project and I think they fit perfectly here. There are places where we were together and from which we have postcards on the map hearts 🙂
I used a scrapbooking clasp to fasten the postcards. On the front and back I made cardboard covers, covered in the same way as the calendar. Initially I was going to tie them together, but during the implementation I gave it up.
The biggest plus is grouping by type and chronological order, almost perfect order. And I don’t have to worry that there is not enough space for more!
And you collect postcards and cards? Together with my mother’s collection, my mums constitute a powerful army. But I will show you these next time 🙂
